* When burning your candle for the very first time make sure you burn for a good few hours or until the wax has melted all the way to the sides.

 

* Always trim your wick between each burn, this will pro long the life of your scented candle and stop the rim of your candle jar going black as well as preventing tunnelling. 

* Do not burn your candle for more than 2-3 hrs at a time and never leave a candle burning unattended. 

* Do not burn your candle all the way to the very bottom of your jar. Discontinue using where there is 1/2 inch of wax left.
